Some really sick motion graphics in this piece. Damn.
Space is kind of awesome. Check out this zoomable composite which includes 84 million stars displayed across 9 billion pixels. Enjoy! http://www.eso.org/public/images/eso1242a/zoomable/
Ok, last post about the Rainbow Parade. I cut this video together for Team RecordSetter for the official World Record page. Enjoy!
World’s Largest Rainbow Parade - This is what I’ll be doing today. Woot!
See you tomorrow. I’ll be dressed in yellow.
Join us this Saturday! RSVP here.
April is a busy month! While I can’t make all the events I want to, I’m excited to be participating in two huge ones later this month.
The first is the Find & Follow Your Passion Conference on April 21st, hosted at SVA by the amazing meet up group, NY Creative Interns. This is going to be an awesome event. I’ll be running a livestream feed of several of the panels. More details to come as the event gets closer.
The other event is World’s Largest Rainbow Parade! A RecordSetter Attempt w/ Jessi Arrington, part of RecordSetter’s World Record Day on April 28th. This is sure to be an interesting mix of crazy and colorful people marching from DUMBO, Brooklyn to Manhattan by way of the Brooklyn Bridge. Will be an incredible sight.
One event that I’ll be missing :( - the 2012 UCF Visual Language Gala/Premiere. While I visited UCF’s Center for Emerging Media on Monday, I got a chance to see the two new films, Box Forts and Flower Story. Whoa, these films are really good! While I can’t be there on the actual day, I’ll be ordering the DVD for sure. Great job to the senior class!
3D FTW! Very cool.
Artist Dain Fagerholm makes these incredible 3D illusions out of rough, sketchy drawings.
“Catch me!” -Tiger
Jack is having second thoughts about asking that tiger for a high five.
